Emeka Oyolu, Vice President & Controller

Emeka Oyolu is vice president and controller for Phillips 66, a diversified energy manufacturing and logistics company. He has approximately 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.

Oyolu has served in a variety of financial and business roles in the Upstream, Downstream, Midstream and Commercial businesses, including general manager, Planning and Optimization; general manager, Finance for Refining, Marketing and Transportation; financial consultant supporting the executive vice president, Exploration and Production, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Middle East; director, Closing and Control, Commercial Financial Services; director, Financial Analysis, Natural Gas and Gas Products; and manager, Consolidation, Corporate Accounting and Reporting.

Oyolu serves on the board of directors of the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston.

Oyolu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Lagos in 1990 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1992. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Oyolu also earned an MBA from Rice University in Houston in 2005 and was named a Jones scholar in recognition of academic excellence.
